Portable dtouch

Portable dtouch is an easy-to-use application that gives you the possibility to change the timestamps of multiple files and folders in batch mode when it comes to the date of creation and last modification. It features intuitive options that can be tackled even by users less experienced with this kind of file management software.

The app's packed in a user-friendly interface made from a single window which displays all options put at your disposal. You can use the drag-and-drop method to add files and folders to the task list, apply changes to the last modified time only or include the creation time too, as well as select a new timestamp by adding or subtracting time (in days, hours, minutes and seconds).

The entire program's wrapped in two files that can be saved to a custom directory on the disk or copied to a USB flash drive, in order to directly run Portable dtouch on any computer by just double-clicking its .exe.

It doesn't change system registry settings or need any external components to run. However, it auto-updates the second file (.ini format) to remember your settings on exit.

It didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, thanks to the fact that it used a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. No errors popped up and it didn't freeze or crash. Tasks were carried out fast.

On the other hand, it doesn't give you the possibility to set the new date and time by entering the exact values, which means you have to resort to a calculator to accurately make modifications. We must also keep in mind that Portable dtouch hasn't received updates for a long time.
