One prominent tool that’s enjoying popularity and increased usage, are keyboard launchers, which offer a customizable app launch behavior.

KeyLauncher, just as its name aptly suggests, was designed in order to offer users the means to craft their own custom app list, which can be easily accessed via a designated launcher console, which is also accessible via keyboard shortcuts.

The main working principle behind this launcher is the shell execution of command lines for initializing apps, files, folders, URLs, or more. Users can also rely on it to store information, or if required directly paste text strings.

Users must be aware though, that the launcher will not detect apps automatically, as all executables that are to be optimized need to be first manually entered in the launcher’s internal library. Following that process, one can then perform searches using text strings in the launcher’s main inputting area, and preview the matching apps in the lower listing area.
