Dual Wallpaper Portable

Dual Wallpaper Portable is a small-sized software application that allows users to seamlessly apply wallpapers to two or more monitors at a time. As the name implies, it is portable, so installation is not necessary.

It is possible to save the app to a removable storage unit, like a USB flash disk, in order to directly run it on any computer, without making any other installations. The most important aspect is that it does not modify Windows registry settings or create additional files on the HDD, leaving it clean after removal.

The GUI is user-friendly, represented by a normal frame split into two main areas, dedicated to adding images and move/zoom configuration, respectively.

Photos can be pointed out with the help of the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop method is not supported. The supported file types are BMP, JPG, PNG and GIF.

It is possible to select the image position (e.g. stretch ignoring aspect ratio), modify the background color, and preview results. Moreover, the image can be moved to any direction by 1, 10 or 100 pixels, as well as zoomed in by 1%, 5% or 20%. The photo can be applied as the wallpaper with the click of a button.

The tool carries out changes rapidly while remaining light on system resources, so it does not affect the overall performance of the PC. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since it did not hang, crash or pop up error messages.

Dual Wallpaper Portable provides a simple method when it comes to applying an image as wallpaper on multiple monitors, and it can be easily used by anyone.
