NoDrives Manager Portable

This is the portable version of NoDrives Manager, a straightforward software utility that enables you to hide any drives from display, in order to prevent other users from accessing them.

Since installation is not required, you can put the program files in any part of the hard disk and just click the executable to run.

Another possibility is to save NoDrives Manager to a USB flash disk or other mass storage device, in order to run it on any PC effortlessly and without previously installing anything.

More importantly, the tool does not create new entries in the Windows registry or Start menu, leaving the disk clean after removal.

The app's GUI is represented by a small window that provides direct access to all main options. You can get started by specifying one or more drives to hide; NoDrives Manager shows the binary and decimal registry values of each one, and provides options for selecting and deselecting all drive letters.

Changes are applicable with the click of a button. You can reload the settings from the registry, as well as protect NoDrives Manager with a password to prevent other users from accessing it. There are no other noteworthy options available here.

The tool is very light on the system resources, using low CPU and RAM. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and it did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. When it comes down to it, NoDrives Manager offers a simple solution to hiding drives on the computer, and it can be easily handled by anyone.
