Portable Safarp

Built as the portable edition of Safarp, Portable Safarp is a small-sized tool that facilitates a fast method for removing installed applications and Windows hotfixes from your computer. It contains a search function and enables you to save the list with apps to file for closer inspection.

You can save the downloaded files in a custom location on the HDD and double-click the .exe to immediately run the utility. Otherwise, Portable Safarp can be saved on a USB flash drive, in order to effortlessly use it on any machine for programs uninstallation. It doesn't edit Windows registry settings.

When it comes to the interface, the main app window has a simple look and neatly organized structure, where the list gets automatically populated with the installed software at startup.

You can check out the name, publisher and estimated size for each program, click an entry to get find out the version too, as well as use a search tool to locate a particular program (partial matches are accepted).

It's possible to opt for a silent installation mode (wherever this is applicable), remove any entry from the list to exclude it from future sessions, and save the list to file with the HTML, CSV, RTF or TSV format.

Moreover, you can change the viewing mode (large or small icons, list, details), hide the details panel, load app icons, hide Windows hotfixes, refresh the list in case new changes have been made in the meantime, as well as sort items by various criteria (program name, publisher, size, frequency of use, date of last usage in ascending or descending order).

As we expected, it didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, running on low CPU and RAM. No error dialogs popped up and it didn't hang or crash.

To sum it up, Portable Safarp provides you with a user-friendly interface for uninstalling programs and Windows hotfixes, but it doesn't bring anything new to the table.
