antillesXML

As the name suggests, antillesXML is a set of tools designed to help you process XML files or outputs more efficiently. According to the developer, the program can be securely used with a wide variety of documents and packs several functions, such as folder wise XSLT transformation or Hotfolder, PDF generation via XSL-FO, the arrangement of XProc pipelines and the validation of XML data against Schemas, Schematron and DTD.

XSLT refers to the transformation of XML data in various subsets of XSL, like XSL-FO or XPath, for example. The format comes with stylesheets rules that can be set up depending on which data can be transferred into a target document.

The Schematron is a standard that is generally used to validate the structure and content of the XML documents. The direct advantage, in this case, stems from the fact that the Schema language permits the checking of business rules, an operation that is not possible when using other languages.

In case you want to generate XML oriented workflows, then you can manage it via XProc, a language that provides the necessary set of commands for the flow control. This ensures that the processor can execute the commands in a sequential order, otherwise known as pipeline steps.
