Coalesys HTTP Client is a free component, created to address the needs of developers who wish to perform HTTP requests and examine HTTP responses by using a high performance and simple COM object.
Implemented as an ActiveX DLL, the Coalesys HTTP Client was written entirely in Visual C++ and is dependency-free, not requiring any MFC, ATL or WinInet DLLs.

· Use any valid HTTP Request method (GET, HEAD, POST, etc.). · Connect to a server on any port. · Customize Request headers. · Configure for use of a proxy server. · Retrieve Response Status, Headers and Body as strings. · Use in any compatible ActiveX environment, including those that do not support events (such as ASP).
