MKV Tag Library

As its name suggests, the MKV Tag Library is a tagging component for Delphi, providing compatibility with both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures on Windows.

The package delivers programming components ready to be used by developers, including a native Delphi unit, a standalone DLL and COM classes. The library is compatible with Delphi XE2 or above.

The MKV Tag Library can be used in Delphi and any development environment that supports DLLs. Moreover, it is available as a COM class for Matroska files, using the power and capabilities of MKVtoolnix to allow the quick tag management for MKV, MKA, MKS and MK3D media files. Please be advised that the COM class requires manual registration.

A tutorial application is available, allowing you to test the library’s capabilities and understand how it works to decide whether it is suitable for your projects. The tutorial app can load an MKV file and create a tag structure, save and load tags and extract the file’s title and covert art file names.

The MKV Tag Library can load and save Matroska tags and load Matroska chapters. As you will be able to see in the demo app, it facilitates the management of cover arts.
