Universal Software Oscilloscope Library

The Universal Software Oscilloscope Library is a real-time plotting component and a DLL library designed for data simulation, modeling and debugging. Providing reliability on all Windows versions starting from the old Windows 95 up to Windows 10, it has been used in various fields that require oscilloscope measurements, such as the medical monitoring field, the automotive industry, sensor or motion control system development.

The library can be conveniently integrated within any software tool, allowing developers to implement an on-screen oscilloscope that opens up in a separate window. The interface comprises all the controls and buttons you would expect in a real oscilloscope. Moreover, the beams can include more than one million quantization steps per second for the monitored signal.

The DLL library comes with nine functions but four is usually more than enough to work with. It can be used with different development environments, such as C#, Matlab, C++, Visual Basic, Delphi, and more.

Aside from the DLL library, the package includes a complete description of the user interface, as well as a generous collection of examples written in some of the aforementioned development environments.

The data generated by the oscilloscope can be easily copied to the Windows clipboard or exported as a text file. The oscilloscope interface is designed to allow data copying of signal sections, enabling you to copy to the clipboard time series of the signal amplitude. The data is organized in columns that are separated by tabulation symbols, which facilitates exporting to spreadsheet programs and the further use in more extensive data analysis. In turn, such data sets can be easily imported to the oscilloscope and visualized.
