Professional Thumbnailer Library

Professional Thumbnailer Library provides users with a handy component designed for generating thumbnails for images and videos as quickly and easily as possible. The library provides multi-thread processing and allows developers to create multiple thumbnail requests with custom parameters.

The DLL component can be used both on Win32 and Win64 architectures, in Delphi or any other development environment where the stdcall calling convention is supported.

Relying on a FIFO list and a thread pool, Professional Thumbnailer Library can be integrated in Windows software to add thumbnail requests and create media thumbnails much easier. The library processes all the requests in sequence and returns the thumbnails for each in a callback. Thanks to the multi-threaded approach, the entire operation is as fast as possible.

The library accepts different inputs, including file names, HBitmap handles, in-memory "picture files" and PIDL. Optionally, developers can choose configurable shadow effects or film frame effects for videos.
