Python Connector for SQLite

Connecting to a database environment from external apps or other development environments can be challenging, especially if the particular characteristics of the source and target connectors induce the requirement of specialized techniques.

One such example is achieving connectivity between Python-based applications and SQLite database environments, and this is at the core of Python Connector for SQLite’s functionality.

This application was developed specifically in order to provide users with the means to obtain connectivity between their Python-based applications and SQLite databases, in order to perform a multitude of operations, which pertain to creation, reading, updating, and deleting operations on the stored data.

In a similar fashion to other Python connectors from Devart, Python Connector for SQLite also comes sporting support for the Python DB API 2.0 specification, with deployment for both 32 and 64-bit installations of Windows.

This connector will allow users access to two main library linking modes: a static and a dynamic one. The first will enable users to achieve direct connectivity to the SQLite database environment, therefore eliminating the need for deploying the SQLite libraries on the user workstations.

Native database encryption is provided with the app, and this will simplify matters in terms of security.
