You can also create your own automated tasks using the Global Script Editor, which allows you to create functions that can be used by any script task within your BuildIT files. If you are a proficient JavaScript or Visual Basic programmer, you can optimize the existing code by changing parameters, values and functions within the system script source file.

Each task can be scheduled to run everyday at a specific hour, but you can also plan tasks weekly, monthly or at any given time of the year, as well as when your computer has been idle for a pre-defined number of minutes, at system startup or user log on.

You can specify which script to run when the task finished successfully or has failed to finish.
