Convert String for C++

Convert String for C++ is a feather-light and portable application that you can use to convert common strings of characters to a format compatible with C++, which can be easily implemented into your projects. HTML code is supported too.

The GUI is user-friendly, made from a large window with a plain appearance and neatly organized structure, where all options are visible. Unfortunately, the window cannot be resized, so it might be inconvenient to work with.

All you have to do is type or paste strings of characters in the upper pane and click a button to convert them to C++, which means they receive the ", \, \r and \n strings automatically.

An example is available to help you get started. Moreover, you can ask the tool to convert % to %% symbols, as well as convert and immediately comply to HTML format.

The conversion operation is carried out instantly and the new strings are displayed in the bottom pane of the window. The utility also reveals the total characters shown and copied. Although there are no options implemented for printing or saving information to file, it's possible to select and copy text.

The entire application is packed in just one executable file that can be dropped in a custom directory on the disk or copied to a removable storage device, in order to seamlessly launch Convert String for C++ on any machine without setup. It doesn't integrate new entries in the Windows registry, need any components to run, or create files on the hard drive without asking for your permission. In order to uninstall it, you simply have to delete the .exe file.

Convert String for C++ offers a simple solution for standard conversions to create C++ strings. CPU and RAM usage was low in our evaluation.
