Establish numerous SQL server at the same time and use Microsoft SQL Server as the backend via this source control software solution #Import VSS #VSS Interface #Source control #SQL Server #VSS #Import
Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere is a version control application that facilitates access to numerous SQL Server connections at the same time. Wrapped in a user-friendly interface, it gives you the possibility to use SQL Server as the background and provides you with many practical options and configuration settings.
The tool consists of a GUI client for Windows (includes a command-line client and Visual Studio IDE integration for Visual Studio 2005 through 2013), a server (starts and stops the service, listens for client requests, routes these requests to the service and sends responses back to the clients, includes VSS Import Tool), along with a server-side application for administrators.
Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere also offers client-side applications for developers (Java GUI client, Visual Studio Plugin included in the GUI client, Eclipse plugin, C++ and Java comment-line clients, COM and Java SDKs), a unique caching system as well as build automation plugins (Ant, CruiseControl.NET). Two types of database engines are supported: Microsoft SQL Server Express LocalDB and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (or newer) or SQL Express 2005 (or newer).
The GUI client asks for server credentials at startup (includes a demo connection). It can move files between projects, get the latest source version, check in and out, branch and merge data as well as shelve and unshelve pending checkins.
Tools can be used for performing wildcard or status searcher, finding text within files, viewing history, labels and differences, adding annotations, cloaking the project, changing the password, importing Blowfish user keys, and exporting the file list.
The server can establish the connection to your own SQL Server or the built-in database. It's necessary to create an administrator password. Worth noting is that Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere also supportsDreamweaver (CS3, CS4, CS5) and other IDE integrations compatible with Microsoft Source Code Control Interface, such as Visual Studio .NET, IBM Rational and Bolderland Delphi.
All aspects considered, Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere is feature-rich application dedicated to database management in SQL Server. It had minimal on the computer's performance in our tests and worked smoothly on Windows 10.
