Description

Previously known as EmmaClient, LiveResults Client is a tool designed to publish live results from Orienteering events (Swedish), such as JWOC, WOC and EOC. It's built on a client-server model and it's wrapped in a simple user interface.

Installing this program isn't necessary since the downloaded archive can be unzipped to run the client right away. Because of this, the utility can be saved to a USB flash drive in order to run it on any computer without installation. However, you have to make sure there's a working Internet connection or it won't be able to do its job.

New competitions can be broadcasted from the main app window by exporting live results soft SOFTs OLA system, by generic IOF-XML v2 and v3 (such as AutoDownload, SportSoftware, Helga, 2010 or MeOS), from SSF Timing, from SportSoftware OE/OS with CSV format, or from RaCom special fileset format.

In addition to specifying the connection details (host, port), you have to enter a username and password for authentication. LiveResults Client is free and open source, released under the GPLv3 license, so programmers are free to view and modify its code to use it in personal projects. The interface is only available in the English language.
