Create batch files for your programs by simply filling in required fields for path and target file name with this app you can use on the go #Batch file #Create batch #Batch creator #Batch #Create #Creator
Executable files got refined over the years, but they don’t contain all necessary lines of code to enable full functionality in all scenarios. These can come under different formats, such as EXE or BAT files. These run codes differently, and if you want to create a batch file for custom programs, then FreeBatch can help you out.
One thing you notice right before the start is that you don’t even have to go through a setup process to make the application work. However, you do need to check whether or not .NET Framework is already on your PC, because it’s a required component for functionality. Registry entries are not modified in the process, so the target computer remains intact.
The application doesn’t necessarily have to be in the source folder of the program you want to create a batch file out of. Several fields need to be filled in, among which is also the target directory. Sadly, most of these details need to be manually written down or pasted, because there are no browse dialogs.
The output can be delivered directly on a thumb drive by selecting it from a dedicated drop-down menu. Apart from source path, you also need to write down the name of the target executable. A new name for the batch file also needs to be specified. Note that all details need to be accurate, like including the executable, even for the batch file.
Hitting the “next” button creates the new batch file in the exact folder of the target EXE. It doesn’t take a lot of time, regardless of the project size. You’re then asked whether or not to create a new batch file, and if not it closes. It could have been useful to see a context menu integration to create batch files on the spot from EXE files.
In conclusion, FreeBatch is a lightweight application which is sure to create batch files for any executable. However, it can take a bit of time and effort to manually write down all details since there’s no faster method of targeting the EXE file you need.
