LoginScript Editor

Dedicated to all types of users, LoginScript Editor is a simple application you can use to edit login scripts in a comfortable working environment that has intuitive options. It offers support for .vbs, .vb, .bat, .cmd, .js, .jse, .vbe, .wsf, .reg, .hta, .html, .htm and .txt file types.

Installing this tool doesn't take long. However, you should make sure to have .NET Framework set up, since it cannot work without this software framework.

At startup, it's necessary to indicate the folder whose containing login script files you want to edit (any other file types will be automatically ignored), which can be later changed.

The main window has a clean and plain look, where the login script files can be accessed from the left side of the panel while their content can be edited on the right.

LoginScript Editor has all the basic features of Windows Notepad, giving you the possibility to cut, copy, paste, select all and delete text. You can insert file or server UNC paths, initialize and terminate scripts, modify registry entries, map network drives, as well as add and remove printers.

There's also a search function implemented for finding text across all scripts and replacing it with something else. You can increase or decrease the text size, change the default scripts directory, back up and restore data, import external files, update your AD account, set up new scripts based on existing ones, as well as print script contents with minimal effort.
