If you are past the evaluation part, you should know that the desktop app is available for Windows OS, macOS, and Linux distributions (still in beta). The desktop program should be installed on the machine where your candidate will be evaluated. Whether you are testing people at a physical location or remotely, you can use Paircast for sending them the coding problem they need to solve. Although the executable for the app is pretty large, Paircast can be installed with ease, works seamlessly, and does not lag.

When you are ready to evaluate someone, you can generate an invite link corresponding the coding challenge you created in the online admin dashboard.

Once the user inserts the invite code in the desktop app, they can start the evaluation. The process is uncomplicated and requests the respondent's name, email, screen recording choice, and permission for accessing their camera and microphone.

The candidate can always check the developer's requirements and after completing the task, they automatically submit both the code files and the full recording of their evaluation.
