RunAnywhere

RunAnywhere is a lightweight console utility that was especially designed to lend a hand to developers while coding. The idea behind the tool is to provide you with a way to input a pre-defined command for anything that you use rather frequently so that you can call it via a shortcut. Once you call on the app, it automatically discovers the path of the current app and delivers it to the command to run.

It is important to note that for the time being, the tool has limited application support, but more will be added in the future. Nevertheless, the developer states that you can write your own commands if you don’t find the one you need within the ones included with the app. To check the current commands, you can explore the %appdata%\RunAnywhere\Bundle directory.

The tool also allows you to import bundled files that will act as the commands. For this you need to register them with the app and simply double click to import. As a side note, if you already have a certain command, the tool will inform you before overwriting and, if you choose to proceed, then the old files are completely removed. You will also receive notifications about possible conflicts, although you can import anyway.
