Select and Evaluate

With a very small footprint on your system, Select and Evaluate provides a straightforward application designed to help you evaluate any Vbscript expression on the spot. With its help, you can easily get the result of the selected expression.

The application features a simple interface with a simplistic set of features. The only available options allow you to change the default hotkey to press in order to get the result. To avoid interference with your daily tasks or work routine, Select and Evaluate can be easily sent to the system tray. For your convenience, it can be configured to run at Windows start.

There is a text box ready to help you understand how the concept works, but you can also try it with any other text editor, such as the well-known Notepad. As long as Select and Evaluate is opened or runs in the background (in the system tray), you can use it to evaluate any Vbscript expression.

In case you are wondering how it works, know that you must first select the Vbscript expression (no matter the text editor) and then hit the hotkeys. This will instruct the application to evaluate the expression immediately.

Select and Evaluate comes with support for basic and advanced mathematical operations, boolean operations, string functions, as well as date and time functions.

By default, the result is pasted automatically, but you can also configure Select and Evaluate to copy the result to the clipboard instead.
