SigRemover

Digital signatures are a way to confirm that the signed software has not undergone modifications or has been tampered with. Removing digital signatures from a file is no easy task, but SigRemover can help you out.

SigRemover is a command line utility ready to help you remove digital signatures from binary files located on your computer. It only takes a few seconds to remove the digital signature completely from the input file.

As mentioned above, SigRemover can only run via the Windows terminal window as there is no standard interface available.. You must use the “-h” option to see a list of all the parameters and their description, as well as usage examples to help you understand exampl. To analyze a file, you should add its path as an argument to SigRemover.

What SigRemover does is read the input file to see if a digital signature is present. The destination PE file can also be specified, should you wish to do so.

Optionally, you can set the location where the new PE file is saved . Should you decide not to specify a location and a name, SigRemover automatically attaches a suffix to the new name (suggestivelly cald NoSig)
