The application comes with several advantages, one of it being that you're saved the entire time and effort needed to go through a setup process. On the other hand, you can use it on computers fitted with other operating system than Windows because it relies on Java Runtime Environment to function. What's more, it keeps the target PC clean since registry entries are not altered in the process.

On the visual side of things, the application relies on simple elements, engulfing only those features you need. The window can't be resized, but is enough to make the whole experience comfortable, and show results. You immediately notice the application can help count items in a list and not just source code elements.

Several files formats are supported by default, and you can easily see filters on the side. Default formats read lines of code from files like TXT, JAVA, CPP, PYTHON, and CSS. On the bright side of things, you can add more formats by simply writing them down in a field, but this doesn't really mean the application can read them.

Files need to be added through the browse dialog. You can add more file at a time, including the content of an entire folder. It doesn't matter which formats you load as long as they're filtered to be read. Results are shown in the main window, displaying number of full and empty lines. In case you want to save the log, you need to manually copy results to clipboard.
