If you are a JavaScript developer, then there's a good chance of you know what npm is. For those not yet familiarized, npm is the go-to package manager that allows developers to share code.

Since npm basically consists out of a command line client that relates to a remote registry, you might be left wondering if there isn't a more accessible way of managing your JavaScript packages.

For some of you out there, the answer might come in the form of ndm, a straightforward, Electron-based npm client that allows you to add, remove and edit, as well as update global and local JavaScript packages within a non-intimidating and functional UI.

The application comes with clients for Windows, macOS, and Linux and can be deployed without much fuss thanks to a hands-off installer. Please note that the application will not launch if Node.js (which bundles npm by default, as we're sure you know) isn't present on your computer's system.

The npm manager sports an uncluttered, yet considerably intuitive user interface with very few elements on display. It displays the global packages and your local projects in two separate folder-based sections within the left panel. The right side of the main window is mainly dedicated to managing packages and projects.

It's also worth pointing out that ndm provides you with a convenient way to edit your JSON projects, take snapshots, and restore them later based on a comprehensive view of all the changes.
