Once you start using Flowmagic, you can add your projects and start tracking the time you spend working on them. You also have to add your hourly rate, so that the program will constantly update how much you’ve earned during a day’s work.

While this function is useful, it can be seen as somewhat of a limitation. Not all projects are paid by the hour, and sometimes it can be frustrating to calculate the exact amount that you earn every 60 minutes. Still, Flowmagic’s payment tracking feature is probably the best part of the app, as it allows you add different columns containing important information such as customer contact details, start and due dates and payment statuses.

Even though Flowmagic is a versatile organizer where you can add to-dos to a list and even see reports of your activities, it doesn’t give much attention to deadlines and doesn’t let you prioritize projects. This can be seen as drawback, as both deadlines and prioritizing are key elements of successful project-based work, as well as major challenges for a lot of people (freelancers or not).

Yes, Flowmagic is a good time tracking tool and can be helpful if you are involved in a lot of tasks and have trouble keeping track of their status. But if you need something to actually ease your workflow, then it probably won’t do the trick.
