Azimuth Calculator

Azimuth Calculator is a small software application whose purpose is to help you calculate the azimuth value.

This is a portable tool which can be kept on USB flash drives or other devices so you can have it with you all the time. You may run it without administrative privileges.

You do not need to go through an installation process, as you may simply run the executable file. No entries are stored in your Windows registry so you can get rid of the utility with a simple deletion task.

The GUI looks clean and easy to decode. All configuration settings are included in a single panel so tweaking them takes only a few clicks.

Azimuth Calculator gives you the possibility to input the latitude of the launch site in degrees, specify the target inclination in degrees, as well as provide the target or orbit velocity in meters per second.

Based on the aforementioned parameters, the application is able to calculate the azimuth value. What’s more, you are allowed to copy the result to the clipboard so you can paste it into other third-party programs.

On the downside, you cannot clear the entire working environment with a single click so you need to manually delete the information displayed in each field. A graphical representation of the calculated angle is not offered by the app.
