JCalculator

JCalculator is an application developed in Java, which puts an advanced calculator at your disposal. It's capable of displaying results in binary, decimal or hexadecimal format.

It's packed in a user-friendly interface made from a rectangular window with a simple design and layout, showing the calculator keys, two boxes for inputting values and reading results, as well as checkboxes for toggling binary, decimal and hex mode.

It's possible to type, paste or click on calculator buttons to input values, as well as to press the Enter key to generate results. On illegal calculations, it returns "Error" as the result.

The app supports clear "C", entry cancel "CE", parenthesis "()", backspace, power "^", multiplicative inverse "x^-1" and square root, among others. Results can be selected and copied.

When it comes to the input, you can allow the tool to automatically correct the syntax, check for errors and complete brackets, restore text field values, and override the decimal mark on the numpad. Keyboard shortcuts are supported and can be remapped.

Moreover, you can opt for double or big integer factorial data type, use a custom button and write the display and action text, enable or disable logging, as well as personalize the background and font colors.

As long as you have Java installed on your computer, you don't need to set up anything else. JCalculator is not wrapped in a setup kit, so you can save the files to a custom directory on the hard drive or store them to a pen drive to directly run it on any PC with Java. It doesn't make changes to your system registry configuration or create files on the disk without asking for permission.

To sum it up, JCalculator features comprehensive options and configuration settings for using a calculator. CPU and RAM usage was minimal in our tests.
