CalcSharp features a modular interface that will allow users to easily construct their mathematical expressions and adjust their appearance thanks to the customization options in terms of font formatting.

All the menus are distributed logically and CalcSharp also offers graphical buttons for some of the most commonly used tools, therefore providing easy access and quick processing of the expressions.

The application comes packed with an extensive collection of mathematical expressions and functions, and users can easily select them for insertion in their formulae by double clicking. However, drag-and-dropping is not supported and this feature could have been provided for easier editing.

Once the expressions have been constructed, users can easily run them and CalcSharp will promptly offer the respective results, tokens or errors, as well as the options to automatically explain the expressions or evaluate them with extensive details.

Within its accessible expressions library users will find some of the most commonly used mathematical functions, variables and operators, sorted according to their domain of application – trigonometry, algebra, physics, IT, etc.

CalcSharp is a good software solution for users who seek a lightweight application for advanced mathematical calculus, with command line editing, support for numerous functions, variables or operators and evaluation of the results. Although it provides an extensive library of mathematical functions, CalcSharp does not include a graphical representation of the functions and equations, which could have been a very useful addition. Since it provides some basic IT variables, it could have offered more advanced features and demanding users will miss support for programming functions or query iterators.
