Equations!

Equations! is a sophisticated and intuitive word processor designed for students, teachers, and scientists to compose complicated equations and mathematical operations, which can later be saved to the computer.

The installation doesn't need too much effort on your side, and it's done swiftly. However, it's advisable to have an older version of .NET Framework installed on the PC for the setup to run.

The interface is modern and clean, displaying the editor and the file document in separate windows. The process is not that complicated, however, you do need some mathematical knowledge in order to use the provided elements correctly.

The categories are neatly delimited from the formatting options, not to interfere with your work. The app offers nice distinct groups, namely, arrows, constructs, delimiters, functions, letters, miscellaneous, operators, relations, and variable size.

Each category comes with other sub-groups for a more accurate find. Sadly, you can't paste content from another document into the editing area, making the writing process tedious.

You can insert AMS and named arrows, and harpoons, fractions, square root, wide parentheses, trigonometric functions (sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent), exponential, limit, and logarithm. It's possible to enter accents, symbols, Greek and Latin letters, dots, geometrical shapes, as well as binary, inequalities, and geometric operators.

What's more, the editor also provides formatting elements to customize the look of the composition, by applying font types, sizes, styles, and colors, along with subscript and superscript characters. The entire equations are displayed in a document, where you can make changes, and save the output to the PC.

The bottom line is that Equations! is a reliable and useful application that comes in handy for everyone who wants to compose complex functions using a wide variety of symbols, operators, variables, and letters.
