Loop mediated isothermal amplification is a technique that amplifies DNA with high specificity,efficiency and rapidity under isothermal condition. LAMP Designer designs a set of primers that recognizes six distinct regions in the DNA sequence.
An inner primer containing the sequence of the sense and antisense strand of target DNA to initiate LAMP. This is followed by strand displacement DNA synthesis primed by an outer primer and releases a single stranded DNA. This DNA now serves as a template for further amplification.
