CAD software these days comes in all shapes and sizes, and although such variety can provide an ample pool for selecting your preferred app, it can also make things quite complicated for those who aren’t sure as to what to choose. Right from the start, we noticed that the app doesn’t feature an excessive amount of on-screen commands and controls. However, when exploring the corresponding drop-down menus of each tool, one will be able to find a plethora of subsequent features.

Resorting partially to such “hidden” menus and leaving traditional ones aside, allows for more efficient dispersion of the available functions, whose end scope is quite subtle, but efficient nonetheless – a more streamlined workflow.

Aside from the standard and extra functionality found in SelfCAD, we enjoyed the well-designed settings bank, which per the standard norm, is usually quite cluttered and riddled with endless menus and sub-menus.

This is not the case with SelfCAD, as its preferences menu is well-structured, and has all of its items neatly accessible in a logical sequence comprised of collapsible menus and sub-menus. This ensures a swift and efficient setup and one-glance access to any particular feature.

This CAD software offers a reliable set of tools that can be successfully used for performing simple and more complex 3D modeling, and all associated tasks that one might require in a modern CAD environment.
