SpeeedCalculator

Developed in Qt, SpeeedCalculator is an easy-to-use software application that enables you to calculate simple mathematical expressions by using addition "+", subtraction "-", multiplication "*", division "/", potency "e", brackets "()", "[]", "{}", as well as negative numbers.

It accurately performs calculations with numbers up to 10e27. Although it doesn't return errors when entering higher numbers, the program shows wrong results.

Installing this tool takes minimal time and effort, since there are no special options, mandatory software products, or third-party offers involved.

As far as the interface is concerned, SpeeedCalculator adopts a large window with a plain appearance. It doesn't put emphasis on graphical elements but it's simple to navigate, giving you an overview of all options.

There are two horizontal panes for typing syntax and displaying output results. It's just as easy as writing text in a word processor. Specifying the equal sign "=" is not necessary to perform the calculations. This task can be started with the click of a button and displays results instantly in the bottom part of the panel.

By opening the right-click menu or triggering keyboard shortcuts, it's possible to undo and redo actions, as well as to cut, copy, paste, delete or select all text. You can select and copy the syntax results to the Clipboard to paste it into a document to print or save for safekeeping and closer inspection. There are no other notable settings available here.

Tasks were carried out fast in our tests, during which the utility left a small footprint on system resources, running on a low amount of CPU and RAM. It remained stable throughout its runtime, without hanging, crashing or indicating errors.

To sum it up, SpeeedCalculator facilitates a user-friendly interface for calculating basic math expressions. However, it hasn't been updated for a long and doesn't support more advanced operators.
