Just because you stumble upon images almost on every corner of the web, and the browser allows you to download it, doesn’t mean it’s yours. If you’re a designer or photographer, you might want to take some extra safety measure before uploading your creations on the web, and one practical way of doing so is to apply a watermark, and this is exactly what 1-More WaterMarker helps you accomplish.

The visual design is pretty well-organized, with most of the space representing the interactive preview area, a lower panel of controls for the type of watermark you want to apply, and a side panel to help you quickly access general view, load, and save options.

You may notice that drag and drop is not supported, and the browse dialog only lets you open one picture at a time. Don’t worry, because there’s a dedicated batch mode to process more pictures. It’s best to first set watermark settings, because the batch processor only lets you select pictures to apply on, and several other settings like renaming, converting to a different format, or adjusting the resulting picture size.

The application puts quite the variety of watermark methods at your disposal. There’s the possibility to add custom text, and image logo at a specified position, and transparency level. On the other hand, you can also apply hidden text to transparent pictures, namely anything but JPEG, or include a custom EXIF field so you know the picture is yours.

There aren’t any visual style editing options, not even the possibility to adjust picture colors. What’s more, you can only add one watermark layer of each type, and text is only available in a single style, meaning it can’t be tiled across the target picture.

To sum it up, 1-More WaterMarker manages to live up to expectations, allowing you to secure your photos for online, and even offline distribution in order to prevent theft. Although you can only add one layer of each type, and customization options are pretty shallow, the overall result, and option to process more pictures at a time are sure to be worth your while.
