CD-Lock

It is possible to provide Flash-lock protection to the media in a particular drive and make it available for writing or read-only. This way, you can filter the actions to be performed by other users. All you have to do is write a password and use it every time the CD or USB is inserted into the computer.

The straightforward piece of kit runs on a very low quantity of CPU and system memory, so it doesn't put a strain on the computer's overall performance.

It has a good response time and worked smoothly during our tests, without hanging, crashing or displaying error notifications; we have not encountered any issues. On the downside, the app has not been updated for a long time. Nevertheless, CD-Lock delivers quick and effective results when it comes to CD and USB drive protection.
