EasyLock

EasyLock is a data security application that safeguards files and folders. It is designed for pen drives, in order to facilitate quick access to sensitive information when you're on the go.

The program uses 256-bit AES encryption to protect data, which is considered a premium algorithm. At its initial run you are required to specify the password that needs to be written each time you want to open the vault to view and control files.

The interface is comfortable to work with. It contains a file manager with dual tabs which let you seamlessly navigate directories to copy or move files and folders to the vault. Note that content of encrypted files can be edited just as in normal circumstances.

It is possible to create and rename directories, copy files or folders to the Clipboard, delete items from the vault, refresh the active view, swap panels, as well as change the viewing mode (tree, detailed, list).

From the "View " menu you can enable a bar containing function keys for quickly triggering commands, such as copy, move, make directory, delete, and rename, similar to Total Commander. Plus, you can make hidden and system files visible, as well as disable confirmation for deleting, copying and removing.

EasyLock has minimal impact on computer performance, running on low CPU and RAM. It is very responsive to commands and works well, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since the app did not hang or crash.

EasyLock provides users with a very simple solution when it comes to protecting files and folders on pen drives, geared toward both professionals and first-timers.
