The encryption process is straightforward and won't put you in difficulty as you progress through. After the name and files destinations were selected, you will be prompted the password pane. Write down the password twice and wait for the app to complete the process. After a couple of seconds, the encryption is over.

After a file is encrypted, it becomes inaccessible and unresponsive. To decrypt the file, open the app again, select "Decrypt" and use the same password you've locked it for regaining access. The decrypting process is the same as the encryption, so no other issues are going to pop up.
