Protect your files and text messages alike, by taking advantage of this intuitive application that provides four encryption algorithms and a decryption function. #Encrypt file #Encrypt text #File decryption #Encrypt #Decrypt #Lock
Everybody has secrets, and wanting to protect them is a natural impulse. But how can you protect digital secrets, like documents or walls of text? Well, the answer is simple, encryption. Encrypting sensible information is the best way to cut access to it, so, over time, a lot of applications that deal with locking files have been created. Encryption Master is such an example, and it can help you protect both files and text.
When you open the app, two choices will be presented to you, encryption and decryption. The decryption part is much easier, so we'll mainly focus on the locking aspect.
First things first, the encryption algorithms. AES, DES, RAS, and HASH are available for you to employ. Out of these algorithms, just one will alter the interface, and that is RSA. RSA is a cryptosystem that requires a public key — which allows everyone to encrypt it — and also a private combination, which is the only thing that can decrypt whatever was locked.
Regarding the rest of the algorithms, these have similar characteristics, and choosing one is just a matter of personal preference.
Encrypt text or documents
Encrypting documents is good enough to keep your files secure, but how about encrypting messages? To be more precise, Encryption Master lest you use the same algorithms to protect your messages. How can you do that? Just make sure you are on the right layout (Text encryption), choose the algorithm, a password, and wait for the output text to appear.
At first sight, the result might look like gibberish, but that's the point. If you want to safely share critical information over the Internet, without the risk of interception, make sure the recipient has Encryption Master installed and access to the password.
As mentioned earlier, any item locked using Encryption Master can be quickly decrypted if the password is provided. Just drop the locked document/piece of text in, write down the password and you're done, full access to your data is restored.
Encryption Master is a straightforward tool that, if used properly, can be of great help to individuals who prefer to lock their information behind a password.
