Renee SecureSilo allows you to create virtual encrypted disks that automatically encrypt the stored data, adding an additional layer of protection to private files. Relying on the AES256 encryption algorithm, this application prevents data leakage and password-protects access to personal or confidential files and folders.

Creating secure vaults, or silos, as they are called in Renee SecureSilo, is a matter of a few clicks thanks to the built-in wizard. In just a few carefully guided steps, the application enables you to configure a new virtual disk of a custom size, with an associated password. The new drive is visible in Windows Explorer as a new secure zone that encrypts all the stored files. Managing all the silos is easy, as Renee SecureSilo displays them all in a list, allowing you to edit or close any silo without a lot of effort.

Aside from creating encrypted drives, Renee SecureSilo can also copy silos to USB or other external drives to turn them into protected drives. Moreover, CDs and DVDs can store silos as well, turning them into secured storage media.

Renee SecureSilo also acts as a tool for hiding or disguising files on your computer. You simply must select the files or directories you want hidden and leave the rest to the application.

Disguising folders is also possible with Renee SecureSilo. This function makes it possible to hide any folder by disguising it into a system application, such as the Recycle Bin, Printers, Network Dialing, Network Groups, Control Panel or a Management Tool.

Renee SecureSilo enables you to secure your data by storing it on encrypted drives or hiding it in plain sight using the “disguise” function. You can use it to create as many secure vaults as you need and, what is more, the application allows you to use password wallets to store sensitive information, such as bank accounts, business cards and info, credit card details, ID cards, license keys, and so on.

In other words, not only that it provides a way to store encrypted data, but it also acts as a basic password manager.
