From the ‘Options’ section, you can define the ‘Offset’ for your file, which functions as a sort of 10-character password. While it can be manually typed in the dedicated text field, Zero Encrypter also offers a virtual keyboard that enables you to input the string without the risk of keyloggers.

Moreover, it can generate a random code by clicking on the ‘Rand’ button. The ‘Offset’ will be the key used in decrypting the file, so you need to make sure it is the same used to encrypt it, when you wish to regain access to your document.
