Efficiently uninstall programs from your computer by identifying them in an intuitive list, and triggering the removal process at the press of a button. #Application uninstaller #Uninstall application #Application remover #Uninstaller #Uninstall #Remove
In order to prevent compatibility issues, and to ensure proper functionality, most applications come in setup packages which properly deploy all necessary files to your system. However, simply deleting the source file is not enough when you want to remove programs, so you might want to use Blanco in order to uninstall them.
First of all, you can see what the application is all about from the moment it reaches your computer, because you don’t have to go through a setup process to make it work. Needless to say that you can have it stored on a USB flash drive to serve as your personal uninstaller you can use on nearly any computer.
It’s recommended to run the application with administrator privileges so that it can properly read and detect items which are installed on your PC. On the bright side of things, you don’t have to wait more than a couple of seconds for the program to detect items, which are quickly enlisted in an intuitive table.
Uninstalling a product is as easy as selecting it from the list and choosing to remove it from your system. The table items are enlisted in also displays the product ID, name, publisher, as well as the installation date. Unfortunately, clicking column headers doesn’t filter lists, so you might need to manually identify items of interest.
The application can feel like an easy way to uninstall stuff, but it’s not really practical overall. On the one hand, it doesn’t really detect all items installed on your computer, even if you run it with administrator privileges. On the other hand, there’s no advanced scanner to find and remove leftovers, which might need to be manually tracked, such as saves and data files.
All things considered, we can state that Blanco comes with a simple, intuitive interface which aims to make removal of programs a walk in the park. However, it can’t really detect all items, while removal isn’t entirely complete, since leftovers can still remain on your computer.
