Secure Data Wiper

Secure Data Wiper is a software utility designed to help you permanently remove all confidential data, such as system registry entries, clipboard contents, temporary Internet files, cookies, recent document history and Recycle Bin contents from your hard disks and various removable storage media, such as pen drives, memory cards and USB drives with as little effort as possible.

The application is wrapped in a clean and well-organized interface, so there should be no accommodation issues to any type of users, even those less experienced with such software.

The items that can be deleted are listed on the left side of the tool. All you have to do is select which files you wish to remove and then proceed with the elimination process. It lets you view the selected data before wiping it from your computer.

Secure Data Wiper gives you the possibility to choose one of the five different deletion methods: overwrite the selected files with blank characters or pseudorandom data, DoD 5220.22-M (3 passes), DoD 5220.22-M (7 passes) and Peter Gutmann (35 passes).

It can be used to wipe unused space on hard drives, schedule removing tasks at your next system startup, as well as to create wipe lists to run tasks periodically.

The tool can also be used to remove administrator temporary files, Windows event logs and Microsoft items such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Paint and Word history files.

Last but not least, it features a “Destructive” mode that wipes out sectors of the selected disk area, regardless of the saved data in the specified sector range. It can delete entire disks too.
