H-locker

H-locker is a simple two-part application that can secure one's folders by concealing them from other users. The two-part aspect comes from the fact that the program ships with two executables, one locker, and one unlocker. Why are these elements separate, who knows? What's obvious is that the hiding and locking process is conducted via a CMD-like process, which is not hard to understand, even for users who stay away from CMD.

To hide a folder, one must first have the directory path in the clipboard. Launch the locker and follow the steps. The CMD UI will ask for the full folder path. As soon as you have the path in the clipboard, right-click one inside the UI to load it. Press Enter and wait for the Y/N confirmation prompt to appear.

Hiding a directory is not the only perk of H-locker. After all, the locker part must be represented somehow. A password can also be imposed over the hidden folder, in case someone manages to stumble upon it, even though that shouldn't be possible except through the use of the unlocker. Enter and reenter the password to wrap things up. After a short confirmation, the target folder is secured and vanishes from its location.

backing up a folder's path is an indispensable action when using H-locker. Without it, the unlocker is useless, and your hidden folders will stay like that. Running the unlocker is as simple as the locker. Provide the path again, the password if is the case, and your hidden folders are back.
