xxHash

xxHash delivers an open-source hash algorithm generator, designed to help you print and verify checksum data for executable files in Windows. It produces hashed identical across all the platforms using the little and big endian.

One of its advantages is the processing speed, delivering an extremely fast algorithm. The library includes algorithms for 32-bit hashes (XXH32) using 32-bit arithmetic, 64-bit hashes (XXH64) using 64-bit arithmetic, and 128-bit hashes (XXH128) using vector-based arithmetic.

The downloaded package includes the XXHSUM application, which can be launched via the command console. The application can display an extended help file to explain all the available commands and functions.

You can easily select the hash algorithm to use before proceeding. By default, xxHash uses big endian, but you can modify this setting. XxhSUM can also be used for verifying checksum data, warning you about improperly formatted checksum lines.
