7zbackuper

7zBackuper is an experimental tool developed for the purpose of providing a GUI for archive backup creation. This app is dependent on the 7-Zip archiver API, and it completes its tasks automatically.

7zBackuper runs in the background, but it will need a bit of attention before allowing it to work by itself. Due to its portability perk, there is no need for an installation routine, just launch it and set it up.

First, the folder path must be determined. Three directories must be linked in order for things to work properly. The 7Zip path is first, followed by the source and destination folders. Once all three paths are correctly set, the font should turn green.

Moving forward, one can run a manual backup for testing purposes. If there are no issues until this step, checking the option.ini files should be the next action, as that document provides the automation parameters.

What's more, the program displays information about the last backup inside its compact UI. The archive name, size, data, and the number of total runs are information the app updates regularly. 7zBackuper can also be run as a service if needed.
