Database Password Recovery

Maintaining a database environment will almost likely involve a set of credentials that users need in order to log into the database management system. As with most credential sets, the user-password combination can be subject to loss and for such circumstances, recovery software can provide a solution.

Database Password Recovery will, as its name suggests, provide users with the means of regaining access to their database environments, through a dedicated recovery wizard. The application will automatically detect all the installed database systems, as well as the corresponding credentials sets.

A number of details will be provided for each detected entry, such as the application name, the server, the created database title, as well as the username and the corresponding password. A wide range of database-type applications are supported, spanning from the most common, such as MySQL, up to more intricate, such as ASA, Razor or Firebird.

The recovered passwords can be saved as lists, in either HTML, XML TXT or, CSV formats for better interoperability with any subsequent software that might be used for further data processing.

As a consequence of the recovery process, the application will also provide users with detailed logs of the recovery, with details about the server, database and credentials.
