Easy File & Folder Backup is a simple yet feature-packed application that does exactly what the name implies, with some extra features. This application can come in handy for users who prefer to backup their data to all types of storage environments such as external drives, removable USBs, cloud and more.

Even though the interface is not that hard to read, there are some elements that may slow down an unexperienced user, maybe even a technical one. Fortunately, there is a full instruction manual that covers and explains the app in detail. The manual can be found under the "i" symbol, near the minimize button.

Regarding the actual backup process, the app provides a small area for loading and choosing the output location, in the main panel. After the file/folder was loaded and the destination set, you can click the play button to start backing up the data. The output folder should generate content right after the process was ended. As a small note, the backups are not encoded or locked, so no security layer is added through the process.

If you click on the little clock icon from under a backup setup panel, the settings menu will pop up with the timer options. From there you can set up some steps that will help you secure the backups. Apparently, you can set up scheduled backups and ensure the process is going to be executed as well. After you are done with the days and hours, you can check one of the boxes below.

Those options let you retry a failed backup, postpone it or take no action and display only a notification. This could be a good method for users who cannot keep their eyes on their backups all the time and need an informative system to help them check the results.
