Google Talk Password Recovery Tool is a fast, simple-to-use and portable software application that enables you to find out the password to your Google Talk account, in case you have lost or forgotten it. It does not include any other notable options or configuration settings, so the program is pretty straightforward.

There is no setup pack involved, so you can save the executable file to any part of the hard disk and click it to immediately launch the app. There is also the possibility to save Google Talk Password Recovery Tool to a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers.

Worth mentioning is that the program does not create new entries in the Windows registry or Start menu, so it does not leave any traces behind once it is removed.

The GUI is represented by a small frame with a plain and simple layout, where the "what you see is what you get" principle clearly applies, since there are no other noteworthy options available here.

The app immediately identifies the account name and password assigned to Google Talk on your computer, and show this information at startup. Although it does not implement buttons for copying data to the Clipboard, printing it or exporting it to file, the first task can be done by selecting text and opening the right-click menu or by triggering the global Copy hotkey.

As expected, the tool does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on low CPU and RAM. We have not come across any issues in our tests, as it did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Google Talk Password Recovery Tool gets the job done.
