PCmover Home is a reliable tool that allows you to easily transfer data and other computer settings from one station to another. The application can automate the migration of the selected files, settings, user profiles and even programs into your new computer.

PCmover Home can help you with migrating files, settings and other data on a new computer, without the need for installation CDs or serial keys. The program can help you prepare both the old and new computer for transferring the data, plus you may set it to notify you when the process is finished.

Not only can the program pack your data for the go, but it can also operate the transfer via the selected network. Based on the current configuration, the data migration can be performed over a Wi-Fi, LAN or Ethernet connection. Alternatively, you may install the application on both the old and the new computers and connect them with a special USB cable.

PCmover Home is structured similarly to a wizard, which takes you through all the steps of the process. It recommends that you scan your PC for viruses and backup your data in advance, but it does not perform these tasks itself. You may first select the type of connection you wish to use for the transfer, then let it scan the source/destination computer.

Scanning the source computer implies gathering information on the user profile, settings, files, installed programs and registry.

Depending on the amount of data you wish to transfer, the process may take several minutes or even hours. PCmover Home can notify you when the transfer is complete either via an email or an SMS to your mobile phone. If you choose to connect the computers via the specified USB cable, you need to install the application on the new station as well.
