Rescue 911

Rescue 911 is a lightweight application that creates file system back-up every time you start the PC. In case of severe error or crashes, the app easily restores your files.

Regarding the back-up capabilities, the tool offers two methods. Automatic Backup and Manual Backup.

Automatic Backup, as mentioned above, creates a system restore point after every boot. If you are experiencing a crash and the OS won't start, you can use the Rescue Diskette and boot your system into a DOS menu.

Manual Backup is applied to new installed files and registry editing. When you install a new program, it's highly recommended to use the Manual Backup because it's a directory is separate from Automatic. This way you can restart your PC after every installation, without the fear of losing the new files to Automatic Backup. During system restart, manual backup won't erase your freshly installed data, while automatic backup can do that.
