While highly appraised by advanced users, the program is not exactly friendly for the less tech-savvy individuals. As the name suggests, Robocopy-Backup is a script that can lend you a hand with creating backups.

Since this is a script, it doesn’t require installation or configuration, so you can just launch it via your default console app as Administrator. Although it comes with a console-like interface, it’s quite user-friendly as you don’t need to use commands and parameters. In fact, you only need to type in the corresponding option to get started.

The options available are minimalistic, as you can either create a backup for the User Data or a specific folder. It is important to note that the tool doesn’t create backups for sub-folders, so you will need to archive or remove them, if you have any in the source directory.

Unlike Robocopy, the script doesn’t allow you to create backups for specific file formats. At the same time, the tool doesn’t support batch, so you will need to repeat the process for each folder you are managing.
