System restore points are meant to allow Windows users to work on their PC with peace of mind, no worrying about losing their data should disaster strike. Restoring a point is like going back in time, returning the entire system to a previous working state, which truly comes in handy in certain circumstances. Creating a new restore point is a matter of clicking a button and so is mounting an existing restore point. Shadow Copy Explorer also allows you to delete a restore point or disable the protection altogether.

The main window also reveals information about the storage space used by the system restore and the maximum amount of space available to system restore.

Shadow Copy Explorer offers information about the system restore points on your PC and allows you to manage them easier. It allows you to mount and unmount system images, delete points and restore them whenever necessary. And, with a single click, you can access the System Protection tool of Windows to manage system restore configuration from there. It is a handy tool to have around.
